Creating and supporting an anti-bias perspective in your environment requires more than purchasing a few key items for your environment or implementing a few well-meaning activities in your curriculum. An authentic approach includes actively thinking about the environment, the ‘teachable moments’ the pre-planned and emergent curriculum, partnerships with families, and more. Examine how to more authentically include anti-bias and diversity into your settings through reflecting on yourself and your program. Participants will earn 2 Develop Training Hours (KCF II.A Creating Positive Learning Experiences).
REGISTER by May 24th to the Northland Foundation by calling 218-723-4040 or emailing Sandy@northlandfdn.org. If you email, state that you are registering for the Anti-Bias Environments Parent Aware Training. Include your FIRST and LAST name, PHONE, and DEVELOP ID.
