2021 Child Care Provider Appreciation & Training - Held on Zoom

For everyone providing care for young children ages 0-5 in Northeast MN counties of Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, and St. Louis and in Douglas County, WI!
$10 per person - presented on Zoom

Registration link will be posted here starting January 25 and closes February 26, 2021.

9:45 AM-11:45 AM MORNING TRAINING: "How Music & Movement Can Positively Impact Children During Times of Stress" with Christine Devitt

KCF II.C Promoting Social Emotional Development - Examine how musical activities positively impact a child’s social emotional health during times of high stress by giving children outlets to explore stronger
feelings. Earn 2 Develop Training Hours.

Break for lunch starting at 11:45

12:45 PM-2:45 PM AFTERNOON TRAINING: "Finding Joy: Tips to Reduce Stress and Experience the Happiness You Deserve" with Raelene Ostberg

KCF VI Professionalism - Caring for and educating young children is intense emotional labor and can easily lead to exhaustion and burn out. Taking care of yourself is critical to be your best and enjoy your important work. Recognize your unique gifts, set boundaries, and learn ways to feel inspired and joyful. Earn 2 Develop Training Hours.

2:45 PM - 3:00 PM Closing, Final Prize Drawings, Evaluation & Survey

All Northeast MN or Douglas County, WI providers will receive:
- Free gift by mail (if registered after Feb. 17, it won’t arrive until after the event)
- $20 Amazon e-gift card by email (if they participate in BOTH trainings on Feb. 27)

You must have a DEVELOP # when registering
to be awarded Develop Training Hours. Certificates of
participation will be mailed to others after the event.
