KCF IV.A: Observing, Recording and Assessing Development
Develop I.D. 283065
Open to licensed child care providers working in northeastern Minnesota through our Parent Aware Pathways Initiative with Child Care Aware. Ever wondered about developmental red flags? The goal of this workshop is to assist providers with identifying and referring children in their child care programs who have developmental
concerns in their child care programs. Participants will explore the benefits of supporting and assisting parents in seeking help for a child who may be in need of specialized services by understanding the assessment process and local referral contacts. A main focus will be how to share concerns with parents in a respectful manner if red flags for developmental concerns are present. Participants will earn 2 Develop Training Hours.
