This class meets DHS Licensing training requirements for both Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and Abusive Head Trauma (AHT). Content includes recommendations to reduce Sudden, Unexpected Infant Deaths (SUID) including SIDS, suffocation, and other sleep related infant deaths; safe sleep environments; MN Child Care regulations related to safe sleep; as well as symptoms and consequences of abusive head trauma, risk factors for abusive head trauma; and strategies to use when stressed, angry or frustrated. Participants will earn 2 Develop Training Hours in KCF III. Relationships with Families.

This is the THIRD of THREE trainings offered in Two Harbors on April 13th. Coffee and rolls will be provided at 7:30 a.m. before the first training of the day. Lunch will be provided from 12:15-12:45 p.m. before the third and final training of the day.
