This course examines specific strategies for promoting self-regulation skills in young children through environmental supports in the early childhood setting and how impulse-control relates to their positive mental health. Participants will explore key characteristics of the physical and emotional environment that can encourage children to learn to identify and express their feelings through everyday activities. Participants will earn 2 Develop Training Hours in KCF II.C Promoting Social and Emotional Development.

This is the SECOND of THREE trainings offered in Two Harbors on April 13th. Coffee and rolls will be provided at 7:30 a.m. before the first training of the day. Lunch will be provided from 12:15-12:45 p.m. before the third and final training of the day.
