with a 2008 Valspar paint grant.
Northland Foundation has partnered with the Valspar Foundation to provide free paint and coating products for community restoration or beautification projects, and in that time more than 6,000 gallons of paint have been awarded to 150 projects. The grant opportunity is available to communities and non-profit organizations in the seven-county region.
Typically 8-10 grants are awarded annually, but this year 18 received free Valspar paint products. Projects are selected based on visual impact, public benefit, volunteer participation and support, intended use, and benefit to the needy.
