kpi Being Web Wise: Helping Keep Kids Safe in the Internet Age
Thursday, October 29, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
The Inn on Lake Superior, Northern Lights Ballroom, 350 Canal Park Drive, Duluth

Adults 18 and older only; some content is inappropriate for children. Parents, grandparents, teachers, administrators, youth development and early childhood professionals, and other interested community members are invited to learn about the realities of Web use, the tricks that predators use, cyber bullying, and the computer safeguards and monitoring tools that every adult needs to know!

Two longtime Superior, Wisconsin police officers with expertise in Internet child crime and computer forensics will present an eye-opening look at what's really 'out there' and how adults can help keep young people safe.

This program is free of charge, presented with sponsorship support from the Duluth Lions Club and Qwest Foundation.
