Valspar “Minnesota Beautiful” paint grants available to nonprofit and community groups for restoration and beautification

Community and nonprofit organizations are invited to apply for paint and coating products to help improve historic buildings, senior and community centers, public buildings, parks, and more.

The Northland Foundation is proud to partner for the 17th year with the Valspar Foundation on the "Minnesota Beautiful" program.

Applications are available on the Northland Foundation website and are due by March 4, 2013. Awardees are notified in late March, paint orders are ready for pick up in May, and projects must be done by November 1, 2013.

Awards are made based on the project's visual impact, public benefit, volunteer participation and support, intended use, and benefit to the needy. All projects must be located within the seven-county Arrowhead Region of northeastern Minnesota.
