Essentia Health: 23rd year of partnering on behalf of children, families, and older adults; additional support for Thrive
Essentia Health recently approved two generous grants to the Northland Foundation, continuing a longstanding relationship to, cooperatively, improve the health and quality of life in the region.
Essentia is providing $25,000 to support programs to benefit children, families, and older adults, and, for the third straight year, has awarded an additional $25,000 for the Thrive Initiative. Thrive funding enables this vibrant coalition of mental health, early childhood, education, and social services professionals to continue meeting, connecting on projects and collaborations, and furthering their efforts to impact systems change and improve access to mental health services for families of very young children.
“We are grateful for Essentia Health remaining a critical partner through the years,” stated Lynn Haglin, Northland Foundation Vice President/KIDS PLUS Director. “Their consistent support enables truly impactful work to promote greater well-being in northeastern Minnesota communities.”
