Christine Bussey, RN
The Northland Foundation is pleased to announce that Christine Bussey has been hired as the RN/Manager for Northland Village–Hoyt Lakes’ Assisted Living Community, where she will supervise the team of care attendants providing services for residents at the 20-suite facility. Northland Village is located at 421 Kennedy Memorial Drive in Hoyt Lakes.
Bussey received her RN degree from Hibbing Community College and currently is pursuing a B.S. in nursing from The College of St. Scholastica. Prior to accepting the position with Northland Assisted Living, Bussey was employed as a nurse at Fairview Range in Hibbing.
“Christine will be a great asset to our Hoyt Lakes location, and we are confident that the staff, residents, and community will appreciate her experience and level of expertise,” said Brad Sandnas, Director of Assisted Living for the Northland Foundation.
The Northland Foundation entered the realm of providing assisted living in 2006 as a natural extension of the Foundation’s “Aging With Independence” priority. The Foundation developed its Northland Village Assisted Living Communities with the mission of providing senior living options in underserved rural communities so that older adults across the economic spectrum could age-in-place near family and friends.
